The Drug Free Communities Support Program (DFC) is a Federal Grant based program. That provides funding to community-based coalitions like BPC that organize to prevent youth 12-18 years of age in the 78218 zip code target area substance abuse and use of tobacco, alcohol, marijuana, prescription drugs, and emerging drugs.
The purpose of the STOP-ACT Grant Program is to prevent and reduce alcohol use among youth 12 -20 years of age with a focus on strengthening collaboration among community entities.
The Bethel Prevention Coalition Opioid Initiative primary goal is to prevent and reduce the abuse of opioids or methamphetamines, and the abuse of prescription medications among youth 12 -18 years of age.
